May days!

The coaching calendar is favorable in May!

Beautiful weather, lots of Daddy, cousin chaos, and coaches/wives conference in Charleston has blessed us.......

And Coaches in Charleston......I wish you all could know the hearts of these men and their wives-- Must Attend Event. (and I just loved Charleston!) Great job Nations of Coaches.

Jay ran with the first grade boys in the Kid's Marathon. This pic is a little misleading because Jay and Willie actually only ran together for about 50 yards. Willie bolted out of the gate; Jay caught up with him mid-way (Jay didn't want to trample kids.) After about 50 yards, Willie took off and finished 2nd from his school!

Here's our little guy with his first gameball of season...

And even I couldn't think of anything to coach him up on tonight. God has blessed him with a strong arm for his age so he proudly prep steps on third every play (He doesn't even need me to yell, "look alive" any more). He threw some beautiful outs and we won our first game of the season (we've been taking some beatings as one of the youngest teams in the league). We ended the game with Willie catching foul pop fly then strong, accurate throw to 2nd to get the double play. Ballgame! Grandparents, www.sportievision.com advertises they broadcast every game. I hear it's pretty good if you're interested.

Well Rested

Doesn't he look well rested to be up watching the Championship Game and keeping his stats. Our deal, come home from school and take a real nap and you can stay up and watch the game. Without much prodding, he hit the sheets and went sound to sleep for 2 hours to ensure he could watch his Huskies.
